BAND 6 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (GENERAL ROTATION)
• Are you a highly qualified and reliable Occupational Therapist with proven experience and plenty of ambition?
• Do you want to be part of a well-established General Rotation?
• Rotations include Stroke, Rapid Response, Elderly Medicine, Vascular Surgery, Orthopaedics, Respiratory.

You will work alongside senior members of staff to ensure quality rotation-specific treatment to patients with various medical conditions, according to the rotation you are on. We place high emphasis on multi-disciplinary team working, but you will also need to be able to work autonomously. The successful candidate will have good assessment, planning and implementation skills. You will be able to mentor and supervise students as well as junior staff.
Learning and development are very important to our Team. We have established In-service training programmes tailored to different developmental needs and experience. External courses are supported if the need has been clearly identified through the Appraisal and Personal Development process
Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust has two main sites. Queens Hospital in Romford which opened in 2006 and King George Hospital in Goodmayes. Essential criteria for the post are:
• HCPC registration and eligibility to work in the UK
• Experience of working in an Acute hospital, rehabilitation or community settings.
• Ability to work autonomously.
