Band 6 - Epilepsy Specialist Nurse

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a busy established Epilepsy Nursing Service.

The successful candidate will be providing support to patients and families from initial diagnosis giving information and monitoring of all aspects of care via a number of nurse led clinics, also supporting the Video telemetry service, the first seizure clinic and the obstetric epilepsy clinics. You will require excellent communication skills and be able to work within the multidisciplinary team, also liaising closely with all of our community colleagues. Commitment to assist with the development of the service is also required.

Full training will be provided you will also have the opportunity to work with Epileptologists and a team of Neurologists. There are a number of education opportunities, study days to attend, and supervision to assist with career progression.
