We’re on the hunt for a capable, experienced and enthusiastic colleague to join our team.

Working primarily on improving our relationships, engagement and communication with key stakeholders, you’ll play a crucial role in helping us enhance and protect our Trust’s reputation, developing and delivering the right tools and channels to get our message across, and empower and engage our staff to deliver amazing patient care.

We’re looking for someone who is skilled and experienced at engaging external stakeholders, helping them to better understand the work of our Trust, to listen and act on their concerns, and able to deliver a comprehensive programme of communication and engagement.

We need someone with demonstrable communications experience, who’s as comfortable trying to give more punch to a deck of powerpoint slides for a Council presentation as leading a multi-platform engagement campaign for our staff and public, or handling a tricky media enquiry from a national newspaper, and with political nous too.

Our Trust is one of the busiest around. We move at quite a pace. And there’s a lot that comes up. So you need to be great at dealing with the unexpected, as well as the business as usual – so you’ll be organised, disciplined, and able to prioritise quickly.

It also means we’re in the spotlight, with lots of scrutiny – from our local public, the media, our staff and partners. It’s not always easy, but it sure is rewarding, there’s certainly plenty to do and plenty of opportunities to learn.
