We are looking for a talented individual to bring their wealth of experience in internal communications to join our busy Communications and Engagement team.
You will play a vital role, bringing your knowledge and creativity to help deliver and improve our extensive range of internal channels and programme of campaigns. With the support of your Communications Manager, you will lead on informing and involving our staff in the aims and priorities of our organisation, ensuring they are engaged and motivated and have a great experience working in our hospitals – resulting in great patient care.
You will need to have sound experience of producing content for a multitude of channels including digital and social media. You will be working with a wide range of teams so you will need to be able to build effective working relationships and provide expert advice, and have a keen eye to spot new opportunities and develop new ideas for interesting and engaging content.
We work in a very challenging and exciting environment – and that means we’re in the spotlight, with lots of scrutiny – from our local public, the media, our staff and partners. So, we’re working hard on our reputation – which gives you the chance to take the lead on creating and running effective campaigns that effectively target our staff and patients.
Lastly, we need someone who is a real team player and will support the team across the board.
For informal enquiries please contact Helen Rouse – Communications Manager on 01708 435 380 or via email email@example.com
All new staff appointed to posts at the Trust are subject to a probationary period. This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the culture and working environment of the Trust.
Applications should be made online, however, queries regarding the application process or assistance with completion of the form (for applicants with a disability) can be made to Sarah Wood / Nichola Ceesay, Recruitment Department, on 01708 435000 ext 3861. Further details regarding the post may be obtained by contacting the manager as per the contact details above.
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the resident labour market test. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UKVI website. From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here Criminal Records Checks for Overseas Applicants.
