Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust is actively recruiting Band 5 physiotherapists to come and join our Band 5 rotational scheme.

We offer a wide range of clinical rotations in surgery and critical care, rapid response, elderly, medical specialities oncology, orthopaedics, stroke (acute and rehab), neurosciences, women’s health and outpatients, providing the opportunity to consolidate and build on your existing experience. Rotations are four months in duration, with opportunities to progress to a variety of specialist Band 6 roles within the trust.

You will be working within a specialised and proactive team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who will provide structured support and facilitate your development within the team. As a trust we pride ourselves in providing high quality care and specialist skills within a large and busy acute environment.

You must be flexible and friendly and good communication skills are essential. The two hospitals are located close to public transport links and staff accommodation is available.

Essential criteria for the post are:

  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and H.C.P.C. Registration (obtained or in process)
  • Broad clinical experience in the core areas as a student or band 5 physiotherapist
  • Ability to participate in weekend working

All new staff appointed to posts at the Trust will be subject to a 6 month probationary period. This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the culture and working environment of the Trust.
